”Coziness and atmosphere” is the motto according to Beate who renovated and redesigned the restaurant. The kitchen staff takes great care in serving the guests a fresh, regional cuisine including fresh fish and lobster from the coast of Cape Breton. Produce from this region's farms are used and reflected in the seasonal choices which are offered on our menu.
Our diversified homemade desserts are always something special to top off a good meal. The feel-good package includes our "All Day Breakfast" and for our European guests a continental breakfast with buns, cold cuts, jam and hard boiled eggs. Every meal can be served to you on our wonderful deck. Here at the Macdonald Country Inn, we will pamper you with our BBQ-evenings through out the summer.
If you are planning a day trip or a picnic on the beach, just order a lunch pack the day before. We offer this service to all vacationers and also to our local guests. Our house 
guests will of course receive room service within the opening hours of the dining room.
Those with allergies (lactose intolerant, gluten allergy etc.), diabetics or vegetarians will receive a menu that will meet their needs (please let us know in advance). We can arrange meetings, parties, events and private functions in our private dining room.
